Summary

It's my second last week now for my whole project to be due. I didn't really post anything up for the past two weeks is because I have been thinking about the speech for my hard artifact. I am doing a video of me pretending to be an radio host, and introducing something. I have been searching the format of doing a radio speech, and on my subject.

Ace Research Paper

For this project, I am doing a research paper for my future career. My friends have already decided what they are going to be when they grow up, but I have no clue. So I felt the need to research about it and catch up. I searched 10 websites and 5 books to write my paper. This topic also interests me because of the different careers in the world for you to explore in the future, plus I wanted to know other great jobs, other than lawyers, docters, etc. I am thinking that I should take as many job tests as I can, compare the results, see if that's true and think about them. My intelligence is intrapersonal and interpersonal, which means that I know myself really well, so I wanted to see which career fits me the best. I will look at several jobs and consider them as my final career. I hope to have a career in mind thet I might choose to do in the future at the end of this project.

I found 5 books in the library about careers that I found interesting. I love food, and likes to try different types. And the jobs about careers are a Food Wholesaler, take the foods where they were grown and get to the stores where you buy them. Bakery Owner, runs your own backery. Restaurateur, owns your own restaurant, and do all the cooking. Test Kitchen Chef, develops new recipes, and make them work. Food Researcher, you work in different companies and look for new products to sell. None of these careers interest me because I don't really like to cook, and I am not good at it, at the same time I scanned through the things that you need to do with the jobs, I wasn't interested at all.

Some of the things that I thought about before that I would do were a rich lady, doctor, lawyer, dancer, or a model. But a lot of those jobs are the ones that my parents want me to do. The others were the ones I admire, like when I was six years old, I thought modeling was very cool, and when I see the models walking on that stage, wearing beautiful outfits, I just could part n't help, but imagine myself on there, and starts to try to walk like them in my pjs, on the table. And that's when my dad hurried to me and took me down. I don't want to be a model anymore, because I want to do something more realistic. Maybe a doctor? You will need seven years of education, than remember all that stuff of the seven years of learning, start with a nurse, then they hire you to a doctor, do sergeries, and get blood splattered all over yourself. That's what my mom wanted me to do? She told me this when I was eight, and the curious me didn't get so curious anymore, after hearing the blood.

A lawyer needs natural abilities to talk back at someone, great at writing skills, and you will have to be really smart. Me, myself can talk back if I am mad, but not quickly. Likes to write, but take a long time. I don't know if I am smart, but my dad tells that I am. If I am going to be a lawyer, you'll need a degree in law, that takes five years. Fulfill educational and requirements to admission a law society. It sounds so comeplicated! But I should think about it as one of my goals.

I think that I have a nice voice, so I might be a radio host in China. I am thinking that after finishing university here, I will go back to China and take Chinese courses, and be a radio host. They would probably hire me, because I know Chinese and English. Being on a radio, needs fluent languages, proper pronounciation, big vocabularis, talk fast, and no stops. I will need to improve on all of these.

I am going to do a model of me wearing the clothes that fits my job and a model of the place that I work at. The presentation I do will be a speech, while showing my audiences the model. If I am going to be a radio host when I grow up, I will make up a interesting speech about a certain subject and pretend to be the radio host. This project helped me a lot, I know that this will help me in the future too. This project had been wonderful, and I hope to see a wonderful pathway in my future career.

Digital Citizenship

1. I think computers give us more human connections. We chat, talk, and game together on the computer. Which give us connections better, because sometimes if we are not facing each other, then its better to say the things that you can't say in person.

2. ~Do not post bad comments
~Don't show your real identity
~Don't post pictures of yourself to keep privacy
~Only go on appropriate sites
~Always have parent's permission to sign up something

3. Discourage, because I don't like multitasking. I think the teachers wouldn't like it either. You should always do one thing at a time, for easy focusing.

4. connections online are better than off-line.
